Pittsburgh Steel Group was the structural steel fabricator and erector for the new Sobeys Voila CFC centre in Vaughan. This project is Sobeys new home delivery automated warehouse. Our project was under an extremely tight budget and schedule and Pittsburgh Steel Group were able to fabricate and erect prior to the start date and finish ahead of schedule while staying within our construction budget. Sobeys was very impressed with the quick turn around of fabrication drawings while dealing with our structural engineer from Ireland. We were never waiting for steel and changes were handled in a timely manner. The onsite personnel pf Pittsburgh Steel did a great job in keeping the project moving forward no matter what obstacles they met. Our steel mezzanines had a very specific tolerance for the robotics and all mezzanines passed with our point cloud survey. In summary, Sobeys Inc. would not hesitate to negotiate our next fulfillment centre with Pittsburgh Steel Group and I strongly recommend them too.
